Training & Gentling Our gentle touch, compasion, patients and help from the Good Lord above, allows us to train animals so they understand what we want from them in their language and they choose to do what we requsts of them, becasue they want to, not becasue they are made to. This is a type of training that last all the seasons of the year, not just in the summer months. 1st (Actual) 30 days ground work, consists of…….. lunging and round pen work ground driving, flexing, head sets, gates such as walk, trot, canter, with verbal commands and hooking on with the language of the horse, manners while on halter, in stalls, at feeding time, hitching post, loading in trailer, working with picking up their feet for cleaning as well as extended stretching for the farrier. .(All farriers will tell you cleaning and shoeing are two totally different things), ……………………………………………………..$500.00 2nd (Actual) 30 days (60 days) consists of……. Continuing the former along w/basic exposure to roads, creeks, surface changes, bikes, cars/trucks, 4 wheelers, chain saws, falling trees, flapping tarps, balls, kids, blankets, carts, camping, trail riding, other horses & animals. We pony your horse along with other horses to expand distance and exposure of work outs, Sacking out with pads, saddles, bridles, saddle bags etc, Adding grain bag weight to saddle while lunging or pony with repetition of the previous commands. ………………………….............………………………………………$500.00 3rd (Actual) 30 days (90 days) consists of……. Forward movement with rider walk, trot, canter, back, side pass etc. Ride Time & Exposure of all the previous, with specifications to your desires, weather it be Halter, Western Pleasure, English, for a show, or 4-H ready training, Trail Riding, Road & Parade Riding, Contesting with cutting, reining or pattern practice. We expose your horse to events of your desired specifications…………..……..$500.00

About Matt... Matt has been riding horses since he was a newborn. He has been training horses & ponies as well as acting executive director, instructor, training assitant & grounds maintanace for a non profit therapeutic equestrian center and rescue since he was 10 yrs old. He knows every trail at Brown County Horsemans Camp like the back of his hand so you know his love is horses. Matt completed high school at Jubilee Christian Academy and moved on to trade school. He attended Midwest Horseshoeing School for Corrective Shoeing in Macomb Illinois and worked under a couple journeyman, shoeing for a couple seasons. Matt is now accepting a few new clients.

"Dancer" Missory Fox Trotter Commonly refered to by the salebarn traders & Jack Eldridge himself as a "Real SOB" He was a misunderstood problem child ,gone wild and was quite destructive during his stay at Jacks. As you see from the photos below Matt turned him into a great Trail riding & playing horse. Thanks for the compliments on a changed horse Jack!
